Me... I went to CHS for high school, which was a great 4 years! I am a proud Canyon Cougar graduate! I continued my education at Texas Lutheran, a great school, close to my job and Mom’s kitchen. I finished college in 3 years. I knew I wanted to teach, so I went for it! I wanted to be a part of the lives of awesome young people.
New Braunfels is a great place for a family! I am married to my high school sweetheart and husband of 27 years, Roger. He has owned his own business for 30 years, Brown’s Welding & Mfg Inc., where he manufactures truck accessories. We have raised three children in New Braunfels, our eldest, Hanna, is a Texas A&M Biology graduate, presently teaching Biology at Bryan High School. DeAnn just received a Surgical Technician certification and will begin RN school soon. Hunter, our youngest, is a freshman at CHS and always keeps us busy.
Teaching Experience... I am completing my 18th year. I have been with Comal ISD for 11 years. I stayed home to be mom while my kids were growing up. I was lucky enough to spend their pre- kindergarten years at home with them. I have taught everything from second grade to seventh, from science to ELA. I enjoy my seventh graders and I love being here at Canyon Middle School! |
