Teaching Philosophy: I believe all children are special and can learn.  I am committed to helping each child meet their potential.  Education is a journey and I enjoy taking that journey with my students and their wide-eyed curiosity.  I love teaching all subjects but my passion is reading and writin.   I  am constantly amazed at the talents of my students.

Personal Interests/Hobbies: In addition to teaching I  enjoy being outdoors.  I like to take walks, work in my gardens, and engage in a variety of "do it yourself" projects.  I enjoy writing inspirational verse and stories, quilting, and collecting antiques.

Family Info (optional): I have a wonderful husband, Charlie,  and an artistic son, Chad.  I love animals and enjoy spoiling my pets.  I enjoy 3 brothers and 3 sisters with quite an extended family.  We have our own "Texas Dynasty" with family events providing multiple topics for my stories .
