Text Box: This is my first year to teach at Smithson Valley Middle School. I enjoy teaching middle school students! They have a great attitude and willingness to learn. My background is in school public relations. Before moving to Spring Branch, I was the Assistant Director of Communications at the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD in Dallas from 2000-2005. I was also the Director of Student Publications at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas from 1997-2000. For the past two years, I was a consultant with school districts to help pass bond referendums. I have helped pass over $600 in school bond referendums. My master’s degree from The University of Houston—Clear Lake in English Literature. My bachelor’s degree is from Texas A&M University in Journalism. My husband, Chris, is the high school principal at Smithson Valley High School. I have a first grader and fourth grader at Bill Brown Elementary. Class Schedule:
