Name: Miss Chelle Isenberg
Grade Level/Dept./Program: Fifth grade science and writing
E-mail: M.Isenberg@comalisd.org
Years in Education: I have taught for the past two and a half years. I began my first job at a Northside school, teaching kinder. The next school year, I moved to a fifth grade self contained classroom. I taught fifth grade (all subjects) for the last two years, and am now beginning my third year of teaching.
Years @ CES: This is my first year teaching at Comal Elementary. I am very excited to work here.
University/College Attended: I began my studies at St. Ambrose University, and finished my degree at the University of Northern Iowa.
Degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with minors in Reading and Mathematics
Other Trainings:
Teaching Philosophy: I think that everyone needs to strive to become life long learners. Learning does not stop after students leave the classroom. There is always something new to learn!
Personal Interests/Hobbies: I love anything that involves the outdoors. My favorite hobbies include: camping, fishing, hiking, and jogging. I also love to travel. I have worked on a military base overseas (Marshall Islands) and have also backpacked across Europe. My family is my number one priority and I try to spend as much time with them as I can (even if I have to travel to Iowa to see them!). |
