Educational Background:

I graduated from New Braunfels Highschool in 1994 and Southwest Texas State University in 1998. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.

Other Trainings:

I am also certified in Gifted Education as well as E.S.L (English as a Second Language).

Teaching Philosophy: I believe that teaching the core virtues is just as important as academics. I strive to be a moral compass for my students in which they can count on. We are a community of learners in my classroom and every person plays an important role. I also never under estimate what the children CAN do.

Personal Interests/Hobbies: I love to read. I also love anything Disney. We love to take family vacations. It doesn't matter near of far just anyplace fun and new.

Family Info (optional): My husband Jason and I have been married for almost 8 years. We have a beautiful daughter who is now two. She is my whole world. I feel that I am a better teacher because of her. I want only the best for her and feel that every parent deserves the best for their children as well. We are very active in our church and have a wonderful extended family right here in New Braunfels.
