Text Box: This is my second year to teach at Smithson Valley Middle School. My teaching experience has been in Special Education, Dyslexia Reading, and in the Regular Classroom. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University, and taught in the New Caney Ind. School district for 19 years before moving to Kendalia,Texas with my husband Jimmie ( a retired Harris County Deputy) three years ago. I have two daughters, two fantastic grandchildren, Andrew and Dalton who now live only 45 minutes from me, instead of 5 hours! My experience at Smithson Valley has been very rewarding, and I hope to enrich your child’s educational experience at what I consider to be one of the best schools in Comal ISD.
