Text Box: In the fall of 2002 I graduated with honors in Interdisciplinary Studies and recognized as Who’s Who in Colleges and Universities from UTSA. After I did my student teaching in the spring of 2003 at Spring Branch Middle School, I started teaching Theatre/Dance at SVMS. This is my fourth year to teach reading and writing at Smithson Valley. I have three wonderful children that attend Comal ISD schools. My oldest son, Justin, has just graduated from SVHS, attends UIW, and is part of the first UIW Football team. Dillon, my middle child, is a junior and a Varsity football player at SVHS. He is the smallest member of the Super Heavy Weight “O” Line standing at 6’2” 243 lbs. The angel of the family, Maura, is a freshman also at SVHS. She plays soccer and runs like the wind in track. When I am not at school I am usually found at a sporting event. Please feel free to come up and say hello if you see me around. I love to talk; sharing our heart is the basis of communication in reading and writing.
