SAGE Program S.A.G.E. stands for Significant Activities for Generating Excellence. This is the name for the gifted and talented program in the Comal School District. At Goodwin Frazier, gifted and talented children receive differentiated instruction in the regular classroom, as well as in a pull-out program. In the pull-out program, the students have the opportunity to work with others of similar ability on challenging activities and products. About the teacher I have been teaching elementary students for more than 30 years. I enjoy the challenges of working with gifted children. I work closely with classroom teachers and parents to ensure that these students’ needs are being met. I believe every child should learn something new every day. |
