Educational Background:

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten endorsement and a Math specialization. I graduated from Canyon High School.

Teaching Philosophy: I believe in a positive, hands-on approach to learning where every child can be a successful learner! I use many different types of learning centers in my room to allow me to work with children in small groups.

Personal Interests/Hobbies: I'm a San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan! I love taking pictures of my family. I collect and like to decorate with items that relate to Texas, such as the flag, stars, and bluebonnets. I enjoy eating chocolate, collecting Disney and Mickey Mouse memorabilia, and watching old Disney movies.

Family Info (optional): I've been married for 18 years and we have a son and a daughter. I'm excited to be teaching here at Comal Elementary because this is where I went to school from the 1^st to the 5^th grade!
